I live in HK :] Are you from there? If so, have you tried the Ms. Fields chocolate mooncakes? They're hands down the best chocolate cake I've ever had in my life..
No we are not, but both our (sets) of parents are from HK :) I haven’t tried those mooncakes but it sounds good! You should take a picture :D

Hey guys, there’s been a glitch with the tumblr queue and instead of posting when its assigned to (once a day) the posts have ALL been posted on the day that they were put in the queue! (which was about a week or so ago) Hopefully this will get fixed soon; if not, we’ll just reblog those posts (since you guys probably didn’t catch them unless you backtracked on FYHKF). what are "ice mooncakes" like?
“ice mooncakes” are more like ice cream mochi than mooncake. the inside is often ice cream (red bean, green tea, mango, chocolate, etc.) but they also have ones that are red bean paste or the like. the outside is like mochi, but thicker, denser, and a little harder (not as chewy/soft). they’re super yummy, we have a couple in the freezer! hope that helps! :)
